Happy Thanksgiving!

Dear Families,
As we wrap up our Fall with giving thanks, I just wanted to express my gratitude to all of you for entrusting your precious child in my care. I enjoy spending my days with each one of the children and marvel at their perseverance as they strive to better their spoken language. Their joy and laughter bless me.
This will be a short week, as we prepare for our feast on Tuesday.
May your family truly enjoy your Thanksgiving Day as you gather around the table with your loved ones. We have so much to be thankful for!

Here is a short Peek at the Week

Monday- We will be making the delicious Pumpkin pies for the feast! Your child might come home tinted orange today!

Tuesday- We will be getting ready for the feast as we prepare all the trimmings and setting the tables for our guests! We look forward to seeing you all here! Today will be a half day.

Happy Thanksgiving!! Enjoy the long break! Safe travels wherever you go!

Let's Give Thanks!

Dear Families,
We all had so much fun learning all about the farm, role playing farmers and seeing real chickens in our school! Our culmination was making a delicious Farm breakfast! Ask your child about how they milked a cow!
After all that, we move into our Thanksgiving week. We will be exploring the reason why we celebrate the holiday as well as having some hands on experience making some tasty creations!

Here is a Peek of the Week

Monday- Read the Thanksgiving story and discuss.

Tuesday- Role play grocery shopping for a feast.

Wednesday- Make Pumpkin Pudding

Thursday- Bake bread and make homemade butter

Friday- Make stick puppets of Pilgrims
