Let's Give Thanks!

Dear Families,
We all had so much fun learning all about the farm, role playing farmers and seeing real chickens in our school! Our culmination was making a delicious Farm breakfast! Ask your child about how they milked a cow!
After all that, we move into our Thanksgiving week. We will be exploring the reason why we celebrate the holiday as well as having some hands on experience making some tasty creations!

Here is a Peek of the Week

Monday- Read the Thanksgiving story and discuss.

Tuesday- Role play grocery shopping for a feast.

Wednesday- Make Pumpkin Pudding

Thursday- Bake bread and make homemade butter

Friday- Make stick puppets of Pilgrims

Show and Tell
Discuss at home things your child can be thankful for.
Please bring in a food item that they can share with their friends. Healthy foods please. ( a box of raisins, a piece of fruit, to be share with 2 other students in the group.) Bring in any books about Thanksgiving.

Monday- Henry and Sadie
Tuesday- Allie G. and Deyon
Wednesday- Levi and Ally M.
