Hello Families!
Wow! We had a great week last week as we went skating into the theme of Winter Olympics! The students were very enthusiastic and enjoyed making flags, and watching the teachers act out a skit!
A big thank you to all the parents who made us a delicious lunch on Friday and spoiled us so! It was such a fun and enjoyable way to end the week! My Luge experience with most of the kids pushing me to the finish line was a cool experience!
This week we will continue to explore the Olympics with some new activities.
Here is a Peek at the Week
Monday- We will have fun making some Olympic medals. Gold, Silver, or Bronze!
In my opinion all the students are first place winners!
Tuesday- We will have a Special Visitor! Erika O.'s husband is a cross-country skier and will come to show off some of his skills.
Wednesday- On your Mark, Get set, Go! We will have fun doing some speed skating in the Gym!
Thursday- Yum! We will make some Olympic treats! Popsicles and Snow cones!
Friday- Hang on! We will go outside for some Bobsledding down our snow mountain! Please make sure that your child wears boots, and snow pants as it may be sloppy and wet!
We will continue with the vocab. from last week.
Show and Tell
Please have your child bring in anything that pertains to the theme.
Please bring in a plastic sled this week as we will take advantage of the nice weather and play outside. You can send your student with a play snow shovel to dig in the snow. Thanks for all you do!
