Nursery Rhymes Week 2

Dear Families,
Last week, the students really enjoyed our theme. The rhymes are allowing for some fun, as well as helping with auditory memory. The children are putting together a book of their own which will be sent home after this week. We will continue with the theme as we explore some new rhymes as well as review the ones from last week.
Here is a Peek of Week 2

Monday: Review Mary had a Little Lamb, Jack be Nimble, and Little Miss Muffet.

Tuesday: Read Humpty Dumpty and make a page for their books.

Wednesday: Make an egg omelet.

Thursday: Learn the rhyme, " I'm a Little Teapot" and make a page for their books.

Friday: We will have a fun time having a tea party! Girls can come dressed in hats and gloves if they choose to do so! Boys can dress up too! (special hats and ties!)

Show and Tell:
We will continue to read a variety of Nursery Rhymes so I have appreciated books from home as well as other items that go along with our theme. If you have a pretend tea set at home, this would be great to share! Also, have your child bring in their favorite stuffed animal or doll for the tea party on Friday. If your child does not have an item that pertains to the theme, another good item to share is a favorite game to share with friends as the interacting of game playing promotes great conversational skills!

Vocabulary will be the same from last week.
Show and Tell Days:
Monday- Sanjay and Deyon
Tuesday - Linnea and Ella
Wednesday - Sadie and Levi
