Show and Tell:
We will continue to read a variety of Nursery Rhymes so I have appreciated books from home as well as other items that go along with our theme. If you have a pretend tea set at home, this would be great to share! Also, have your child bring in their favorite stuffed animal or doll for the tea party on Friday. If your child does not have an item that pertains to the theme, another good item to share is a favorite game to share with friends as the interacting of game playing promotes great conversational skills!

Week 2 The Mall

Hello Families!
We are in full swing of learning about the Mall and how to shop! The kids enjoyed the skit that the teachers performed last week about Mall shopping. We have re-enacted shopping in the small pull-out groups and had fun making wallets and purses to keep our money in!
This week we will continue to learn about shopping and reinforce our vocabulary. If the opportunities arise, when you are out shopping with your child, point out escalators and elevators, counters, cashiers, customers, cash registers. Any time the child can experience the real world in relation to learning vocabulary in class, will aid in the retention of the newly acquired word, and promotes the growth of language.
Thanks for all you do to help your child grow and learn!
Also a Big Thanks to all the parents that help out with the Dad's breakfast to make it so successful! We appreciate all that you do!
