Here we go! We are entering the last week before our Winter Break! How appropriate that we are still learning about the Jungle! Are your kids a bit wild before the holidays?? This is such a natural experience as the excitement mounds with all the preparations and places to go!
Their excitement is contagious and I have been enjoying singing holiday tunes with all the students and seeing the twinkle in their eyes! Children are so precious and I do wish I had an ounce of their energy!
I must say I am so proud of my students as each one is working so hard to listen and speak. Conversations are becoming more natural and extensive as the children are using their language in social situations.
My wish for you and your family is to enjoy the break and have fun as a family as you receive the best gift there is, being together, laughing, talking and making memories that will last in your hearts forever.
Happy Holidays and a blessed New Year!

Jungle
Dear Families,
Here we are only a few weeks left before the holiday break. I hope that you and your family are enjoying this season of light and love while making precious memories with your children.
As we work through the Alphabet we are on the letter "J" and we look at the theme of The Jungle.
At least we can go to our imagination of a warmer place where the lush jungle is a beautiful green and the animals live free!
Here is a Peek into our new week!
Monday- We will make some funky binoculars so we can go exploring in the jungle!
Tuesday- Yum! We will have fun making some delicious monkey bread.
Wednesday- We will join the animals by making some stripped zebra masks.
Thursday- We will be creative as we make some colorful parrots with colored sand.
Friday- We will create a safari map so we can go exploring in the jungle and not get lost!
Here is the vocabulary: binoculars, hippopotamus, giraffe, jungle, zebra, chimpanzee, gorilla, flamingo, goopy/sticky, vest, crawling, lion, splash, tree frog, tarantula.
