Hello!
We will continue with our theme from last week of Fantasy and Magic. All children love to pretend and listen to fairy tale stories. These stories are fun to act out and read over again. Our students are learning to use their listening and speaking skills to re-tell the story and recognize the sequence of the story.
Here is what we will do this week:
Monday- We will focus on the story of Cinderella and use props to act out the story.
Tuesday- We will make crowns so we can all be Princes and Princesses
Wednesday- We will learn and practice some simple magic tricks
Thursday- We will have a special visit from a Magician! The Magic show will be in the morning!
Friday- We will have fun watching the movie Cinderella.
Some of the vocabulary words for this week include: scrub, laundry, midnight, apron, glass slipper, stepsisters, Cinderella, coach, prince, wizard, magician, wand, mice, illusion, gowns, hocus-pocus, wizard, magic trick, magician's hat
For Show and Tell
Children can bring in Cinderella stories, crowns, wands, costumes, or anything make believe.
