Hello Families!
I am back from a long week at Jury Duty. I will be anxious to get back in the swing of things with the students, as I missed them all!
Last week continues into this week as we get prepared for Thanksgiving.
We will be continuing lessons in language on the theme of cooking.
A Peek at the Week looks like this...
Monday- We will pretend to bake different culinary delights as the students pat, roll, cookie cut, and squish shapes with Play Doh.
Tuesday- Today we will take what we learned from yesterday's experience and make some edible cookies. We will use our cookie cutting and decorating skills.
Wednesday- Have your child come ready for a Tea Party! We will use our social skills and also make some finger sandwiches as we enjoy each others company at the Tea Party!
Thursday- Dramatic Play as we have fun playing the roles at a restaurant.
Friday- We will start to prepare for our field trip to the Dodge Nature Center which will be next Monday the 17 th. We will make paper bag owls.
Show and Tell
Please bring items in that have to do with the theme. This can be any fun kitchen gadget or perhaps a book about cooking, an apron, or even something simple to taste that you and your child has made in the kitchen.
