Community Workers (continued) & October Fun

Dear Families,

Can you believe that we are almost at the end of October?

As we move into a new week of learning, we will continue to learn about Community Workers and also talk about some activities that happen at the end of October.

Here is a Peek of the Week!

Monday- We will be talking about the importance of caring for our teeth and what the Dentist does to help us take care of our teeth.

Tuesday-We will have fun making a Witches Brew!

Wednesday- We will create a scarecrow!

Thursday- We will create some edible spiders!

Friday- We will be getting ready for our Halloween Party.

The party is from 11:00 -12:00.

Please have your child come dressed in his/her costume and be ready for some fun!

For Show and Tell: Please have your child bring in something that is related to the Halloween Theme- This can be a book about pumpkins, a past photo of them in a Halloween costume, a silly Halloween book, or a part of their costume. Be creative!

This is a time for harvesting, so you can also bring in gourds, squash, Indian corn.

The Vocab includes these words: candy apple, skeleton, mask, bat, trick or treating, fairy, carve, ghost, pumpkin, clown, spooky/scary, Jack 'o lantern, spider.
